Sarah Kortemeier won the Felix Pollak Prize in Poetry from the University of Wisconsin Press for her debut collection, Ganbatte. Her work has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, Ploughshares, Alaska Quarterly Review, Fairy Tale Review, and The Feminist Wire, among others. She serves as Library Director at The University of Arizona Poetry Center.
